FOREVER FRIENDS DOG TRAINING POLICIES

CLASS REFUNDS:

Thank you for enrolling in classes with Forever Friends. Our classes sizes are limited to ensure quality, therefore, any and all transfers and refunds (minus a $35 administration fee) will only be issued when the office has been notified 7 days prior to the beginning of your class.

If you are unable to continue with a class due to a long term illness or injury, suffered by you or your dog, you will receive a 50% discount when enrolling in a future class.

CLASS MAKE-UPS:

Unfortunately, our instructors do not have time during a class, to readdress information from a previous class. If your dog is ill or suffers an injury and is unable to participate in class, we urge you to attend without your dog. If you are ill or injured, a substitute handler can attend in your place. The substitute must be aware of all information and techniques provided in the previous class.

If you and/or your dog can not attend class, you may be able to join another class in progress, but this cannot be guaranteed as our classes are usually full and/or the curriculum will be too far behind, or ahead, of your class. A half hour private make-up session can be scheduled for a $20 fee.

Note: Please review your schedule before enrolling. The first class of every course must be attended--except for Puppy Class, where the first and also the second must be attended. If you are unable to attend these classes, you must book a make-up session prior to attending the reminder of your course.

CLASS CANCELATION OR POSTPONEMENT BY FOREVER FRIENDS:

Occasionally, classes may be postponed or cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. Should your class be cancelled, you will have the option to either: Transfer your payment to another class; keep the credit until the class is rescheduled; or, receive a full refund.

Particularly in the winter, classes may be postponed due to weather and dangerous driving conditions. Should a class be postponed, it will be made-up by adding an extra week (class) at the end of the course. If a class has to be postponed, we will send an email to notify you. Please always try to check your email before heading to Forever Friends.

EXCESSIVE EXCITEMENT & REACTIVITY:

It is normal for dogs to have some level of excitement during the first class, this may result in barking, inability to concentrate and some sensitivity to encroachment in personal space. If your dog demonstrates excessive behaviour in any of these categories we will transfer you to a class specifically to address these issues.

If your dog is unable to remain in a regular group class due to reactivity to people or dogs, we will transfer your payment to a behaviour group class, or a private consultation.

CHILDREN AND FAMILY MEMBERS:

All family members, including children, are welcome to attend classes. We request that children under the age of 8 be accompanied by a second adult.

PRIVATE SESSIONS BOOKING AND REFUNDS:

To book a Private Session, Obedience or Behaviour Consult, a credit card number, cash, certified cheque, or payment via Paypal, is required at the time of booking. 48 hours notice must be given to cancel (minus a $35 administration fee) or to postpone your session. The full fee of your booking will be charged if cancellation is received after 48 hours, prior to your booking. A one time reschedule, within 3 months of original booking, can be made at no additional charge.
